Here's a good one... One of the competitor's products above even claims that it helps carpets dry faster. A prespray that helps carpets dry fast? Huh? OK, wait a minute. It gets rinsed out by extraction (i.e. no longer there, plus adding more water now) yet it helps the carpet dry fast. Uh-huh.
We may have been paying too much in the past, but we're not stupid. Times are tough. Buy the product that works the very same and saves you more and puts more in your own pocket: MEGAPACK.
• How does it work so well?
It starts to work as soon as it is applied and literally melts away even the most stubborn soiling as it dissolves, emulsifies, and suspends greasy soils. Whether you are cleaning nasty restaurant carpet or high end residential carpet, MEGAPACK Traffic Lane Cleaner will deliver superior cleaning results safely and very effectively. Its non-residual, VOC-compliant formulation means that it cleans without contributing to resoiling and is compliant with VOC standards in every state. MEGAPACK meets or exceeds industry standards for the safe and effective cleaning of all synthetic residential and commercial carpets, and even stain resistant carpet too.
• OK, it's cheaper, but does it work as well?
I'll be honest with you: no, it doesn't work as well. It works better. Formulated with very high solvency and a slightly higher pH makes the unique chemistry of MEGAPACK a real winner. You get A LOT more out of a gallon because of its higher dilution ratio, so you simply end up with a much better product overall.
It's thicker than water, so give it a little shake before pouring it into your sprayer. In a Hydroforce sprayer, most guys like it up to that first lip at the bottom, so for everyday cleaning, fill up the 5-quart jug just 1/6 of the way. That's all you need. Spray it on nice and hot and let it dwell for 5 minutes or so. Clean normally and you'll see why it's fantastic! In a pump sprayer, 2-4 ounces per gallon of water is all you need.
• What about upholstery?
You will find Groom's MEGAPACK a must-have for everyday preconditioning of wet-cleanable upholstery. More mild than the ammoniated ones, its beefy solvency will quickly emulsify all greasy soils. You will find it extremely economical to use, and deeply ground-in upholstery soils will be begging for mercy once you apply this product.
Yes, it's completely safe, and has been very well tested by the author here. In fact, it was used first on a 25-year-old orange printed cotton. The entire front of the piece was heavily laden with greasy dog oils and saliva built up over the years. Appetizing, huh? One spray of MEGAPACK and I could see the soil start to dissolve. Extraction was truly effortless and completely removed the soil and dark coloration.
Simply use MEGAPACK and mix it normally at 2-4 ounces per gallon of warm to hot water and apply just like any other prespray to arms, seat cushions, headrest areas... wherever it needs it most. You will be VERY pleased. MEGAPACK can also be used as an additive to upholstery shampoos when you are shampooing as a preconditioning step before wet extraction. You will call and thank us for that tip.
